FAq’s

  • My approach is somatic and trauma-informed. I work in a way that is warm, steady and carefully paced. I am active and engaged in sessions, offering guidance, reflection, and structure while prioritizing safety, choice, and curiosity.

  • Sessions are tailored to each client’s needs and desires. A typical session could be both conversational and experiential. We may explore what’s present in your life while also tuning into the body to observe, and potentially shift, physiological patterns. This is where the deep healing and transformation takes place. At times we may pause, slow down, or shift attention to support nervous system regulation and integration.

  • During our first full session together, we’ll get more clear about your goals, relevant history, and current life stressors while also beginning to establish safety and orientation. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We move at a pace that feels manageable.

  • Feeling safe, respected, and understood matters. Many people notice fit through the quality of presence and pacing within the first few sessions. I will always value your feedback. If at any point our work together doesn’t feel aligned, we can talk openly about next steps.

  • Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This call is intended to answer logistical questions and to get a general sense of what you’re seeking in therapy.

While this consultation can help determine whether we may be a good initial match, the best way to truly assess fit is through a full therapy session, or over the first few sessions. Therapy is experiential, and many aspects of fit are most clear once we begin working together.

  • Sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients meet weekly or bi‑weekly, depending on needs, capacity, and goals. We can adjust frequency over time.

  • The length of therapy varies. Some clients work with me for a focused period; others choose longer‑term support. We will revisit goals and pacing together and adjust as needed.

  • My fee for a 50-minute session is $250. Payment is due at the time of session.

I am considered an out‑of‑network provider for most PPO health plans. I can provide a superbill upon request for clients who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance company.

  • I require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less notice are charged the full fee. If we are mutually available to reschedule the appointment within the same week, I do not charge for the rescheduled session.
